It gets confusing because “I’m sorry” also means “Good morning” in Canadian, but the one that stumped me was McKeever, who lost my respect completely when he apologized, I’m sorry to say.
McKeever employed forthright language to disparage “crybaby” American deserters and further offered a sound thrashing to those Canadian hippies who would turn Canada into a hotel for them. Then he went and grovelled, and thus lost my vote.
The report is accurate, Gregg. He wrote this on a Facebook page, along with the claim that his political views are Baathist, and his hero is George Bush - which should be a giveaway that he was not being serious, unless you can seriously imagine a pro-Bush Baathist - clearly indicating a sense of humour, if off-colour and tasteless.

Wot the fuck is to be sorry for about that like?
I may be sorry for my poor sentence construction but that is all.

Do you know what he said that was ‘obscene”?
It should be more widely known I reckon.

If this report is accurate, McKeever sounds like a nut.
