   That twin towers business was not a legitimate causus belli. That whole war on terrorism stuff is complete shit. The legitimate causus belli for the Iraq war, and the one in Afghanistan, and Clinton’s bombings in Somalia, and the war I think we should see in Sudan (rather than the one we have) is fear and hatred of tyrants, coupled crucially with a reasonable chance of doing something about them (which is why bleating about Burma or North Korea doesn’t change the justification for the above wars).
