Paying respects while passing through
by Transmontanus, 18 August 2008
Took this snap at the weekend for youse lot.
The grave of Ginger Goodwin, socialist martyr.
Grew up on stories about Ginger. Bit of a hero in my neck of the woods, especially to Cumberland people. More than 260 workers died in the Cumberland mines over the years, mostly immigrants from Japan, China, and Europe.
As you were.
