I am perfectly well aware that there are many graver problems facing civilization, and many grosser violations of human rights being perpetrated as we speak. But this is something that we can all change at a stroke.

    I agree with this. Mrs B and I once overheard someone moaning about a restaurant, with quite some vitriol, because “we had to pour our own wine!”. Fucks sake, did you have to wipe your own arse when you went to the loo as well?

    It annoys me, plus many people may like to know how much booze they’ve drunk, e.g. 1 glass, or 2 glasses (not for driving reasons, obviously any refill would put you over the limit).
