… a worldwide symbol for goodness and holiness, and leave you to die in a cornerness instead of treating you with drugs they could have bought with the money from donationsiness …
Following the huge worldwide success of GOD IS NOT GREAT, Toby Mundy at Atlantic Books has acquired the long-awaited memoir of Christopher Hitchens from Danny Baror, acting on behalf of Steve Wasserman. The as-yet untitled memoir will be published in Spring 2010.
Atlantic acquired UK & Commonwealth rights, in a significant deal, with Patrick Gallagher of Allen & Unwin in Australia. Publisher and CEO Toby Mundy commented: ‘The most brilliant memoirs require an author who is candid and eloquent; whose life has been eventful, whose opinions are substantial, whose circle of connections is wide and whose travels are extensive. Christopher Hitchens has each these qualities in superabundance, more than any other writer I have ever known – and I think that his indiscreet, incendiary and very funny memoir is sure to be one of the publishing events of 2010.’
