Disintegration

[O]ne-dimensional man (aka - Bloggertarian scum) will not last for long. They will disappear at the first breakdown of the capitalist economy – in the bloodbaths the capitalist order is now preparing for him/them. Capitalism, at the height of its powers is also at its most vulnerable; it has nowhere to go but to its death. However small the chances are for revolt, this is not the time to throw in the towel.
Fucking honest. You fuckers.

“To break the monotony he invented games. Death to all modifiers, he declared one day, and out of every letter that passed through his hands went every adverb and every adjective. The next day he made war on articles. He reached a much higher plane of creativity the following day when he blacked out everything in the letters but a, an and the. That erected more dynamic intralinear tensions, he felt, and in just about every case left a message far more universal.”

My local chippy has started to sell “Haggis Pizza” — not “haggis with pizza” mind you — but “haggis pizza”.
Might try one tomorrow and report back on it here.

“MR LEOPOLD BLOOM ATE WITH RELISH THE INNER ORGANS OF BEASTS and fowls. He liked thick giblet soup, nutty gizzards, a stuffed roast heart, liver slices fried with crustcrumbs, fried hencod’s roes. Most of all he liked grilled mutton kidneys which gave to his palate a fine tang of faintly scented urine.”

I’m a going to suggest to the chippy bloke that they also introduce my favourite — Monkey on A Stick.

Don’t I even merit an insult? How bloody insulting!

Capitalism, at the height of its powers is also at its most vulnerable; it has nowhere to go but to its death.
Instead of talking about your chippy and his tasty-sounding cuisine, could you please explain why you think your interesting statement above is true? Thank you.

This post is correct in every particular.
It’s a shame practically every stripe of leftist has spent the last quarter of a century manoevering themselves into positions where they are incapable of capitalising on this forthcoming (entirely foreseeable) uberfuckup.

Monday 24 March 2008 at 21:24

Correction to the above — in fact I had a cottage pie rather than a shepherd’s pie — the shep pie is made from sheep whereas the one I had was made of beef.
I am most sorry for the confusion.
