Cloverfield

I haven’t had time to see Cloverfield yet, but I see it is has the overly used anti-science stance of many other disaster films!

    It has the form of a giant monster movie, which have a very specific historical origin in Japan’s experience of atomic weapons during World War II, but the content of New York’s experience of 9/11. Furtherm-is that Beaker in the background???
