Disgraced media mogul gets 6.5–8 year sentence. How the mighty they do fall!

Update

I gather that Black is keen to dump his British citizenship and become Canadian, so that he can serve his sentence in a minimum security prison in his native country. How would his compatriots feel about this, I wonder?

    Wonder no longer, dear Watchmaker.

Black renounced his Canadian citizenship for his British peerage, and most Canadians say he shouldn’t get it back. When he was sentenced,a public opinion survey in Canada found only eight percent of us thought the American jury treated him too harshly, almost half said he got what he deserved, and 22 percent said he got off lightly. “Some 60 per cent of respondents – rising to 71 per cent among close followers of the trial – said the Montreal-born Black’s Canadian citizenship should not be reinstated.”

Looks like he’s buggered then (maybe literally as well as metaphorically).
