Ali Eteraz is close. Andrew Coyne is closer.
Sohail Raza is closer yet, and Alan Borovoy is right on the mark, but it’s still all too much like a sitcom.

Ali Eteraz: “Nothing sets back the eradication of Islamophobia more than Muslim groups’ crying wolf against inaccurate punditry.”
Actually, nothing sets back the eradication of Islamophobia than watching yet again as someone has their neck hacked open after being forced to say “I am a Jew. My mother is a Jew”. That sort of thing tends to produce bad press.
