Alan Cumming has an appropriate name.

Circumcised men are said to suffer from… “significant penile sensory deficit” … – a Men’s Health magazine survey in 2000 suggested that uncircumcised men lasted an average of four minutes longer during sex than their circumcised peers.

“As to immoral practice,” [Hitchens] writes, “it is hard to imagine anything more grotesque than the mutilation of an infant’s genitalia.” He argues that circumcision weakens the faculty of sexual excitement and diminishes its pleasure, pointing out the significance of the operation being performed on babies rather than those who have reached the age of reason. (One study found that 92% of male infants subject to circumcision were not given anaesthetic during the procedure.)

Instead of obsessing with his fellow-man’s foreskins Hitchens should refocus on their forelocks, which they also continue to tug with frenzied abandon.

It seems to me from the female perspective on heterosexual intercourse that if a man takes longer before he comes that this is all for the best - so more fun for the women, and more likelihood of also enjoying an orgasm…. Dunno if Hitchens has considered that point of view too…

Apparantly the procedure is also helpful for reducing the transmission of STDs:

In response to Hitch, perhaps the moral and sexual case is not quite so clear cut
