Speaking for myself, I do have a problem with an “over-consuming”, self-satisfied hypocrite being lauded yet again. Fuck him and fuck manbearpig.
The Nobel committee awarding the man a Peace Prize for acts which are not only objectively false but which objectively have nothing to do with peace. Yes. But we will have to see if the Hitch is right and this spurs al-Gor to stand for the Democratic nomination. And, unlike, Hitchens, I think Gore would be a disastrous President and disastrous for the free world.
Oh I dunno, the science may be dodgy in places, but I still prefer Gore to Bush or that sleazy creep Clinton. Let’s see, despite being an opponent of the Vietnam War, he didn’t avoid service (unlike Clinton and Bush), and he was a strong and consistent opponent of Saddam Hussein when the indefatigable one was dictator of the moment in Washington. There are the usual neo-liberal and god bothering noises emanating from the Gore entity, but we’re talking about a bloke from a party which represents the interests of the bourgeoisie — it goes with the territory.
If he were running and I was a seppo, I might actually vote for him.

Does he know who is running in the 3.15 at Cheltenham?

Oh come on, Will. It is not Gore the person I have a problem with, it is our innate (inane) burning passion to find a messiah.
More over at my place.

The comments under that post are like what you get at Stalin’s Tombola or Sonic’s Shitty watch S[h]ite.

PS. I remember when Harry Hutton was funny. Now he just licks the arse of lenny the loon.

I don’t read comments anymore. I have a low prick tolerance.

Speaking purely as a sci-fi fan, isn’t it great that two science fiction writers (Lessing and Gore) have won Nobel Prizes this year?

We have GOT to start a band with that name.
