“Trapped in the limitations of its own negativity”

The following essay, by Hussein Ibish, a senior fellow at the American Task Force on Palestine, for a welcome change, is not a “pro-Israel” vs. “pro-Palestine” one — but moves along in a different vein… discussion includes “pro-Hamas vs. pro-Fatah” perspectives - a two state solution (most definitely) - and takes issue with left-leaning, (nominally) secular, Arab-American scholars and others who support and agitate in favour of Hamas and a supposed ‘one state solution’.
